Last month GoBlackKnights.com reported that Rivals 3-star offensive line prospect and Baylor commit Tate Williams ... that the Bears were his childhood favorite when it came to college football.

But in our conversation yesterday with the 6-foot-3, 260 pounder out of Wall (TX) Wall High School, there are two other programs that remains open to.

One is TCU and the other is Army West Point, hence his Top Three are Baylor, TCU, Army.

Williams took time out to elaborate on the draw of each of the aforementioned respective school.

“Baylor is and has been a dream school of mine and when I got the offer it seemed like such an easy decision," he explained. “ I love how the team seems like a family and is such a tight knit group that’d I’d really love to be a part of."

“Army is a really good school and a degree from West Point is almost unmatched. But my only problem is it’s so far away from home and if needed I can’t make it back right quick.”

“Just because TCU is closer,” Williams added.

“I’m not closing any doors on anyone for the time being,” continued the offensive lineman, who is being recruited at Army by Black Knights’ fullback Coach Mike Viti.

GoBlackKnights.com will continue to follow Williams’ recruiting throughout the balance of the spring and into the summer, so keep it right here.
