The Army Black Knights’ 2025 remains officially on the clock and there are several key prospects who over the past two weeks have made their way to the historic West Point campus.

One such prospect is Rivals 3-Star defensive lineman, Zach Green. The 6-foot-3, 250-pounder, who is out of the University of Detroit Jesuit, Detroit Michigan has this initial greeting to GBK and goes from there.

“Recruiting is good … I loved my unofficial (Army West Point) last Friday,” bellowed Green, who currently holds 13 offers that include

Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Toledo, Bowling Green, western Illinois, Troy, Marshal, Louisville, Grand Valley State, Buffalo, Kent State, Miami (OH) and of course, Army.

Green’s recruiting with the Black Knights is being handled by Coach (Sean) Cronin and the D-Lineman had this to say about how feels he would fit into Army’s defensive structure.

“I see myself perfectly fitting in on defense they use bigger defensive end and I’m very versatile, so I’m good playing inside with power and I can come outside and use speed,” he declared. “Also they have the mindset of their defense not hesitating or flinching just go out there hitting.”

The Army West Point Visit

According to Green, his recent visit to the academy and viewing the football program up close and personal was an eye-opener.

“Yes it was my first time visiting and what stood out is that they have all of their players set up after college for their jobs,” he stated. “My interest is high for West Point … it’s a great school.”

“I had the opportunity to talk to everybody on staff and they are high on my list.”

According to Green, he has narrowed his list down to the Top Three.

“My commitment should happen soon and my top three are Army, Eastern Michigan, and Kent State,” he stated.
