There is little to no doubt that this is an exciting time to be an Army football, especially if you are one of those Black Knights’ fans who not only follows recruiting, but understands how significant it is to the success of the program.

One would have to be blind not to see what head coach Jeff Monken has done with regard to getting the caliber of athlete into the program that will be successful both on the field and as a West Point cadet.

Over the past week, the coaching staff have locked down a couple of new commitments, and we believe more are on the way and most notably at his time is Rivals 3-star defensive tackle Ryan Bryce, who along with his parents was back on campus for his 2nd visit on Friday.

The good news is that prior to his visit, the 6’3”, 290 pound D-lineman had named Army and Virginia as his top two schools. The very good news is that after spending his Friday at West Point, he shared with GoBlackKnights.com that Army is now his leader, albeit a slight lead. Bryce is a priority target and look for him to receive a home visit from the staff sometime this week, with the hopes of locking down his pledge then or very soon after.

But there are others who have been on the board or who are just hitting the Army Black Knights radar. So, let’s take a look at today's recruiting notebook Inside The War Room that features Army football targets to keep an eye on:
