GBK's Early National Signing Day Headquarters

"I am excited about the future of Army Football. With today being the start of the early signing period, we have secured commitments from several outstanding young men. Although we cannot publicize these commitments until after their arrival at West Point this summer, we are confident that we have recruited a group of young men who will be outstanding Cadets, leaders of character to serve our nation, and football players who will help carry on the winning tradition of Army Football.”

"When I signed everything just felt like a flash! It felt like it was yesterday when I was just waiting and hoping for an opportunity to play for Army. Then here I was signing my commitment to Army with all my loved ones around me. It was awesome can't wait to get up there and beat Navy with my future brothers! "

"And I was reached out by THE Jeff Monken, my position coach Patrick Tresey, and Coach Ware, QB coach. They all told me congratulations and welcome to the brotherhood!"

“Honestly I felt like I was already 100 percent committed so this was just putting it on paper. I talked to at least 4 or 5 coaches in the past couple of days, including Coach Monken. I’ll be talking to Coach Saturnio in a couple minutes here.”

It finally feels real to me that I am going to be playing at one of if not THE most prestigious school in the world.”

“I have my AP US history exam tomorrow, so to be honest I’ve just been studying today, but I’m going to text coach Loose, Monken, Dixon, and Corless tonight and tell them that I’m ready to be a Cadet and I’m ready to help Army beat Navy!”

“It was exciting and relaxing as I finally close a part of high school football to continue in college and also give back to underclassmen who seek inspiration and motivation. But I loved the day so much as it brought excitement and relief.”

“It felt surreal to me. It just feels like time is flying and I’m just ready to head into this next chapter of my life and see what I will be able to do to succeed.”

I have always looked at the bigger picture in life, and looking down the road several years from now, I know this will be the best decision I will make to ultimately reach the highest levels of success off of the field, in character, and on the field competing. It was truly surreal being able to look to the left and right of me to see my brothers I have grown up with accomplish their life long goals along with mine, and that finally coming to fruition."

"It was mostly a relief to know my mom won’t have to pay for college and that I won’t have to deal with student loans and stuff like that. It was just another check on the list of things to accomplish. I just know this is a big moment and there’s bigger moments on the horizon at West Point."

So I’ve had guidance from my family. I also prayed a lot about it. I believe this is a step in the right direction in my future. So I’m relieved."

"My mother was emotional and I know it will be hard on her. I am going to miss my family and friends a lot, but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to give."
