2017 Spring Football Central: Safety James Gibson settling in
The spring practice is well underway for the Army Black Knights and one of the promising signs is the emergence of junior safety James Gibson, who told GoBlackKnights.com that he is enjoying himself as fully reconnects himself to the strong safety position from his time occasionally rotating in at outside linebacker.
“It’s really fun and we are working hard,” said the former Rivals 3-star player. “Last year I made the switch ... ‘X’ [Xavier Moss] and Rhyan [England] really helped, along with the coaches. So it’s been easy, plus I played safety my freshman year and I’ve been playing nickel safety ... rotating through.”
