“This past Tuesday I notified Coach Brent Davis who has been handling my recruitment for Army,” Jang told GoBlackKnights.com of his commitment conversation with the Black Knights’ offensive coordinator.

“We first caught up in terms of what I have been up to and I just came back from a soccer game, so we spoke briefly about soccer as well. Then he answered some of my questions I had and that had led me into my verbal commitment.”

DECIDING FACTORS

But even beyond the sibling connection, Jang pointed to several other factors that lead him to say yes to become a member of the Long Grey Line.

“There were many,” he admitted. “Some of the big ones was the amount of prestige held to West Point’s name, a paid great education, the beautiful campus, and along with the fact that both my brothers were going was enough to make it a sealed deal for me.”

And is Jang excited about his college decision?

“Most definitely,” he declared. “I can’t tell if I’m more excited to be attending the school or about playing for one of the best teams in college football.”
