You can’t blame the Army coaching staff from having a little extra pep in their step today as they hosted the 2nd and final one-day football camp, where many of the campers were there to show that they are offer worthy and even some on hand to solidify the offer they already hold from the Black Knights.
You see, just yesterday, the coaching staff is coming off of a very impressive and informal “Knight On The Hudson” BBQ, where they hosted several key prospects and that resulted in a few solid commits. But the event also put the program in great position with several other recruits who were in attendance and walked away with a better feel for Army West Point.
Some of those same recruits were in attendance this afternoon’s camp, but more so as observers than participants.
For example, there was Rivals 2-star prospects and teammates from Suwanee (GA) Collins Hill High School .... Jomier Augustine and Evan Anderson, along with offensive center Daniel Parrish ... just to name a few.
But today was more about the recruits who were there to participate and catch the attention of the Army staff.
There was athlete/wide receiver Joshua Tips out Trinity Christian High School, who already looks the part. You had quarterback Hamp Sisson out of Mountain Brook (AL), who came in without an offer, but by the looks of things, that will surely change by the end of the day.
GoBlackKnights.com takes you inside today’s camp with some photos of Saturday’s venue.
Stay tuned as GoBlackKnights.com brings you more photos in our Album No. 2 from the campus of West Point.
