The senior quarterback came to West Point via USMAPS from Abernathy, TX with a 5.4 rating from Rivals in 2020 and did not play in his plebe season of 2021.

In 2022 he appeared in 4 games with 26 snaps and rushed 12 times for 163 yards and two touchdowns. He scored his first career touchdown on a 64-yard run at UMass.

Last season he started all 12 games with 600 snaps at quarterback. He began the season leading the newly installed shotgun offense, but showing that he still knew how to run the old triple option when Jeff Monken brought it back in the Coastal Carolina game.

In 2023, he completed 60 of his 120 pass attempts for 913 yards and 7 touchdowns with 5 interceptions. He led the team in rushing with 215 attempts for 901 yards and 7 touchdowns. He had his best game against arch-rival Air Force rushing for a career-high 170 yards and 2 touchdowns in 36 attempts.

The senior safety entered West Point from Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz, TX in 2021. He was named a district Offensive MVP at quarterback in high school but was listed as an athlete with no rating from Rivals.

He appeared in 6 games with 33 snaps at safety in 2021 registering 4 tackles and a pass breakup.

He played all 12 games in 2022 with 2 starts and 215 snaps in 2022 and finished 7th in total tackles with 41, including 3 TFLs, a sack and a forced fumble.

Last season he started 11 games with 594 snaps and finished 5th in total tackles with 52, including 1 TFL. He also had two interceptions and a pass breakup as well as a forced fumble.

Kyle Lewis

The 280-pound senior nose tackle may not be as familiar to some Army fans as the first two newly elected captains on our list because he has missed some early playing time due to injuries.

Lewis came to West Point via USMAPS from Scottsdale, AZ with no rating from Rivals as a 207-pound DE in 2020. He played 12 snaps at DE against Bucknell with no stats in his plebe season. He had an abbreviated sophomore season appearing in just 5 games with 30 snaps as a backup at DT. He registered just 2 tackles that season.

He came back from injury last year to start in 11 of his 12 games with 488 snaps at NT. He recorded 255 total tackles, including 2.5 TFLs and a Sack, along with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

If Army fans are somewhat unfamiliar with Lewis, they are likely to be even less familiar with Winokur. He came to West Point via USMAPS for Archbishop Spalding HS in Saverna Park, MD where he was not rated as a DE in the Rivals 2018 recruiting class. He appeared in 2 games against UMass and VMI in 2019 and showed no stats in either game. He appears on the roster in 2020, but we have no record of him playing in any game that season.

He left West Point to go on active duty as a Cannon Crew member with Charlie Battery 2-15 Field Artillery Regiment in Fort Drum, New York. Attained the rank of SGT. Earned an Expert Soldier Badge and attended Air Assault School.

He returned to West Point last season and appeared in 6 games with 32 snaps at NT and has just 2 career tackles, including 0.5 TFLs.
