Although Austin, Texas linebacker prospect Brendan Jones’ recruiting his being handled by fullback coach Mike Viti, who is one of the Black Knights’ top recruiters, along with hearing from coaches John Loose and Tank Wright ... it was Head Coach Jeff Monken who made the offer call to Jones.

Viti Introduced me to the staff but I talk to Coach Loose more, but I FaceTimed with Coach Viti and the campus is beautiful,” shared Jones when discussing his virtual intake of the West Point campus and football facilities.

“The weight room and stuff was locked down, so I couldn’t see much, but i got to see the outdoor facilities and offices.”
