The Army Black Knights continue their versatile prospects for the 2018 recruiting and their search has now dipped into the Lone Star state. LB/TE Jacob Doddridge of Southlake Carroll High School located in Southland (TX) has landed his first offer and that comes from Army West Point.

“West Point is the only offer I have,” said Doddridge, who acknowledged that he has already visited Baylor and UT the past two weekends and I will be visiting Northwestern, Boston College, and Harvard soon, but he has not scheduled a date for the academy.

“I'm actually not sure yet,” he added. “This offer really took me by surprise. I got the call last night around 9:30pm or so, but it was the first time I'd ever talked to any of their coaches. We will have to get one on the calendar. The trips I referenced before have been booked for a while, and then our spring football starts at the end of this month. So, my first meeting with them will probably be down here.”
