Yes, QB Bryson Daily is receiving all the accolades and headlines these days, and deservingly so. However, if it weren’t for the Malicious O-Line Brotherhood (aka The M.O.B.), Daily’s season, along with the team’s overall success … the narratives might have a different twist.

The No. 23 ranked Army Black Knights’ interior offensive line is clearly one of the best in the nation.

As the leading rushing team in the country, not only do the Black Knights boast a solid starting five, but they have depth as well.

GoBlackKnights.com will point out the starting crew, who have started all seven of Army’s games this season and make no mistake about it, the group is one of the primary reasons that the Black Knights are 7-0.

Let’s Take A Look At The M.O.B. Starting Five ...

Connor Finucane - 5th Year Senior Tackle

Finucane entered direct from Baton Rouge, LA with the highest Rivals rating ever for an Army recruit with a rating of 5.6.

The former Rivals 3-Star prospect got off to a good start as a plebe with 10 games with 1 start and 119 snaps at guard in 2020.

He broke into the regular starting lineup as a yearling starting all 13 games with 692 snaps in 2021 and was named a second-team Phil Steele Postseason All-Independent.

He was named to Phil Steele’s All-Independent First Team in 2022 after starting in all 12 games with 722 snaps.

He was elected team captain in 2023 and started all 12 games with 726 snaps bringing his career total to 2259 snaps at the start of this season.

He was named a 2023 Phil Steele Postseason All-Independent first-teamer...Selected as a College Football Network All-Independent Honorable Mention.

Finucane has started all 7 games this season and has played 360 of the team’s 442 offensive snaps. He has a rating of 78.7 from PFF

Bill Katsigniannis - Senior Guard

Katsigniannis entered West Point as a direct admit from Katy HS, in Katy, TX in 2021 with a 5.2 rating from Rivals. He did not see any action in his first two seasons.

He appeared in 3 games with 33 snaps at Left Guard in 2023.

He has started all 7 games and played 345 snaps at Guard this season and has an overall rating of 79.5 from PFF, which ranks him 17th among all Guards.

Brady Small- Sophomore Center

Small played his high school football for St Augustine in Richland, NJ and was rated a 5.2 by Rivals when he was recruited by Matt Drinkall in 2022. Brady spent a year at USMAPS before entering West Point in 2023.

Small started in all 12 games with 702 snaps at center as a freshman in 2023.

Small was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List at the beginning of the 2024 season and he has started all 7 games with 375 snaps so far this year. He currently has an overall rating of 83.5 from PFF, the second-highest rating for a Center.

Paolo Genarelli - Sophomore Guard

Genarelli entered West Point from St Charles North HS, in St Charles, IL in 2023 after a year at USMAPS. He did not appear in any games in his plebe season.

Generalli has started all 7 games this season with 347 snaps and has an overall rating of 80.1 from PFF, which ranks him 12th among all Guards.

Lucas Scott - Senior Tackle

Scott entered West Point direct from Chenanga Forks HS in Binghamton, NJ in 2021 with a Rivals rating of 5.2 as a Fullback. He did not see the field in his first two seasons.

Scott played in all 12 games with 11 starts and 672 snaps at Right Guard in 2023.

He has started all 7 games with 360 snaps at Tackle this season and has an overall rating of 84.2 from PFF, the 12th-highest rating for a tackle this season.
